If nothing truly changed it seems that a link has simply been broken somehow and the media file is unlinked from the master clip. Also, the Media Tool only yields results for files that are known as being online, so if Avid is telling you the media is offline, then Media Tool isn't going to know about it either. The Avid Attic only holds copies of Bins, there's no correlation to the media files on the hard drives. I tried relinking, tried going way back into the Avid Attic, tried searching in Media Tool-all to no avail.
